We proudly announce that ULI Austin’s Women’s Leadership Initiative has been renamed to honor the legacy of Carey Gunn Venditti.  It will now be named ULI Austin’s Carey Gunn Venditti Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Additionally, we have established a college scholarship in Carey’s name for an undergraduate in the UT Real Estate Center. The recipient of the Carey Gunn Venditti Memorial Scholarship will receive $2000.  Recipients must have demonstrated both an interest in real estate within the McCombs School of Business and support increasing the advancement and number of women in the real estate industry. ULI Austin will also provide mentoring and networking opportunities to the scholarship recipient.

We need to raise $50,000 to establish an endowment that will award a $2000 scholarship annually.  All pledges count toward the total necessary to endow the scholarship.  The endowment will be managed through The University of Texas, with all donations made directly to the University, and 100% of donations going to the scholarship fund.

The scholarship fund must reach $50,000 to be endowed to distribute $2000 awards annually.  All donations are made directly to the scholarship fund, which will be managed by The University of Texas.  Annual pledges count toward the total necessary to endow the scholarship.  ULI Austin has committed $10,000 to seed the scholarship fund.  Personal and corporate donations are encouraged to help reach the scholarship goal.
