KIM VOSS, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Kim currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Campus Communities, the largest developer, owner, and manager of student housing communities in the United States. She joined ACC in 2004, shortly before its Initial Public Offering, and served in various increasing management positions as she oversaw the strategic growth of the Company’s financial operations team to support ACC’s growth into the national leader in the student housing industry. In August 2022, things came full circle when she played a key role in the $13 billion sale of ACC to affiliates of Blackstone, navigating ACC through its transition back to private equity ownership as a Blackstone portfolio company, at which time she stepped into the CFO role. A Certified Public Accountant, Kim holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.

Kim is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the McCombs School of Business, and she also serves on the Advisory Council for the McCombs Department of Accounting. Her charitable activities include serving as a Board member of the Central Texas Chapter of Folds of Honor (providing scholarships to children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members and first responders), and as a Board member of Eanes Education Foundation (sustaining educational excellence within Eanes ISD public schools). Kim lives in Austin with her husband Mark and their two teenagers, a daughter and a son.
