Join ULI Austin’s Young Leaders for a volunteer service event with Foundation Communities at the award nominated Zilker Studios, Foundation Communities’ newest supportive housing community, which includes 110 beautiful studios for low-income adults, several community amenities, and onsite services to improve residents’ health, education, and financial stability. Located on bustling South Lamar, residents will enjoy easy access to transit, jobs, retail, and outdoor recreation.

During this service event, ULI Austin Young Leader members will serve a hot meal to approximately 60 residents and have an opportunity to learn their stories while experiencing the transformative impact this innovative community is having on peoples’ lives!

Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit with 23 communities all over Austin and 3 in North Texas. This residential program provides affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.

6:00 - 7:00 PM | Serve dinner to Foundation Communities' neighbors
7:00 - 7:30 PM | Breakdown/clean-up
