In Spring 2022, ULI Austin launched its first WLI Market Exchange trip to Washington, D.C., where a group of female commercial real estate professionals from Austin toured landmark projects and developments and enjoyed an evening of curated conversations with women leaders from ULI Washington.
Building on that success, the 2024 Market Exchange took us to New Orleans for a similar experience—and now it’s become a biennial tradition!
About ULI Austin WLI Market Exchange
The ULI Austin WLI Market Exchange is a curated trip for female CRE professionals with a breadth of backgrounds to experience a U.S. real estate market different from their own. The goal of the program is threefold:
1. Build connections with other WLI groups outside of ULI Austin and foster stronger relationships inside and outside the region in which we work;
2. Create opportunities for women in commercial real estate to network and participate on a national scale; and,
3. Observe the trends and driving forces present for CRE in an outside market, which may be applicable to the Austin Metro area.

Mark your calendars! The ULI Austin Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) will be heading to Denver, Colorado for our next Market Exchange Trip, April 15-17, 2026.
This immersive experience will bring together Central Texas women in real estate for three days of learning, networking, and inspiration as we explore one of the country’s most dynamic real estate markets. Participants will enjoy site visits to a diverse mix of commercial real estate projects and developments, networking opportunities with female members in Denver, and a jointly organized evening of content focused on ideas and insights applicable to both Austin and Denver.
All female members are eligible to participate. Participation is by application only.
Women will be selected to attend on behalf of ULI Austin, representing a diverse range of expertise, experience, and specialization.

💰 Estimated Budget: Approximately $1,500 per person (includes travel, registration, lodging, and group activities)
💳 Registration Cost: $400 for Members | $300 for Public/Non-Profit Members
Participants are responsible for their own flights and hotel. The registration fee includes local transportation in and around Denver, a welcome reception, one dinner, two lunches, all tours, and a joint evening networking event with ULI Denver WLI members.
