There is no question that Austin is distinct in many ways. But Austin is no longer the weird little college town it once was. Over the last four decades, the City of Austin has experienced exponential growth, driven by major economic development projects and a diverse economy, as well as a lingering youthful, enigmatic appeal. Join our panelists for a look back at some of the projects and initiatives that helped shape Austin to what it has become today, and a discussion of what may be in store for our future.

    PANELISTS:
MODERATOR: Kate Alexander, Deputy Chief of Policy and Communications at Travis Central Appraisal District and Co-author of Austin Unlimited: The People, Place, Passion and Prospects
