We call it Artificial Intelligence, but AI is impacting our habits, skills, and needs in very real ways. Just as we know that the developers, designers, consultants, and public officials amongst us often use different tools in their work, so too are each of those tools uniquely impacted by the growth and implementation of AI in the workplace. Join young industry leaders in a discussion about how AI is impacting their work and where they see the future of AI product in CRE outside of chatbots and writing tools.

Attendees would be able to Identify sector-specific uses of AI to set organizational goals, introduce ideas in a cross-disciplinary manner for members to learn how their peers’ jobs are changing with the support of AI. We would like to identify expectations and goals, and surprises that some have already experienced when blending implemented AI in their work.

    Leia de Guzman

    Cambio

Hi! My name is Leia de Guzman, co-founder of Cambio, where we're helping commercial real estate companies and their corporate tenants decarbonize their buildings. Our software automates the measurement of a portfolio's carbon footprint and also provides data-driven recommendations to plot an entire portfolio's path to net zero. I am deeply passionate about helping our industry achieve net zero by 2050. I first discovered this passion for sustainable buildings in college, where I studied Environmental Science and also worked on a project with the U.S. Department of Energy to build a net zero solar-powered 1,000 square foot house. This led me to a wonderful career at Oxford Properties Group / OMERS. Most recently I was Investments Director in London where I oversaw investments across Europe and Asia Pacific. Across my 7 years at Oxford I have deployed $8 billion in real estate investments globally across Canada, UK, France, and Germany. Following my time at Oxford, I went to Stanford to pursue an MBA and explore all things at the intersection of climate tech and real estate. That is where the idea for Cambio was born. Reach out to me at [email protected] if you'd like to learn more!
