Join ULI Austin's Young Leaders as we celebrate Earth Month with a deep dive into one of Texas' most important conservation projects. As Central Texas experiences rapid growth and development, it's more important than ever to protect the region's natural resources. The Great Springs Project is leading the way, working to safeguard the four major springs that feed the Edwards Aquifer and provide drinking water to over two million people in the region.
During this event, we'll be joined by Emma Lindrose-Siegel, Chief Development Officer of the Great Springs Project. Emma will share insights on the core objectives of the project and the strategies it employs to protect the open spaces between Austin and San Antonio. She'll also delve into the ecological significance of the springs, their cultural and historical importance, and the potential benefits that the Great Springs Project offers to both the environment and the communities that surround the springs.
