Join ULI Austin’s Young Leaders for a volunteer service event with Foundation Communities. Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit with 23 communities all over Austin and three in North Texas. This residential program provides affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
During this service event, ULI Austin Young Leader members will serve a hot meal to approximately 60 residents and have an opportunity to learn their stories while experiencing the transformative impact this innovative community is having on peoples’ lives!
SCHEDULE
5:30 - 6:00 PM | Set Up
6:00 - 7:00 PM | Serve dinner to Foundation Communities' neighbors
7:00 - 7:30 PM | Breakdown/clean up
