ULI and PwC jointly released the 2022 Emerging Trends in Real Estate report. Austin maintained its top 10 ranking (held since 2009), landing at No. 4 this year in Overall Real Estate Prospects. Austin also found itself moving from the category of “18-Hour Cities” to the status of “Supernova.” Cities in this category are among the fastest growing metro areas and are on a tear in terms of prominence and popularity. Supernovas are affordable smaller markets (between 1 million and 2 million residents) with tremendous and sustained population and job growth, which is well above national averages.

During the luncheon, we will hear national insight from Andy Warren, Director of Real Estate Research at PwC and one of the report’s co-authors. Additionally, local expert panelists will render their thoughts on the report and provide their own unique local perspective about the high-level results.
