We are proud to introduce our newest ULI members who joined ULI between June 2021 - August 2021.
ULI Austin’s Battle of the Plans encourages local Young Leaders to actively participate in its mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
Site Announced: Police Headquarters on 8th Street
The teams will present to a panel of judges at our December breakfast (December 15). The competition invites Young Leaders to showcase their skills on an important real-world project and offers valuable face time with ULI Austin members. Battle of the Plans is a unique opportunity for Young Leaders to collaborate across real estate functions and gain exposure to the type of project team required to plan, design, engineer and capitalize a new development. The winning team will receive a prize from ULI Austin.
Must be a ULI Member – Young Leader or Student
Nov 15 | 12-1pm
- Virtual kickoff meeting to form teams and explain case study. We will send the Zoom details to participants after sign-up.
- If are unable to make the kickoff meeting, please email ULI Austin.
Nov 15-Dec 3
- Teams have 3 weeks to prepare proposals (coaches collaborate with teams during this time)
Dec 10
- Teams share a preliminary concept with members of the ULI Programs Committee
Dec 12
- Deadline to send slides to ULI
Dec 15 | 7:30am-9:00am
- Present plans at ULI Breakfast (coaches would receive complimentary registration to attend the breakfast)
