Carey Gunn Venditti Scholarship Donations Will Be Matched!
ULI Austin will match donations made Wednesday, May 22, dollar for dollar up to $5,000. As of May 22, 2019, $40,100 has been raised in total towards the scholarship.
This scholarship is for an undergraduate at the University of Texas Real Estate Center. The recipient of the Carey Gunn Venditti Memorial Scholarship will receive $2,000. Recipients must have demonstrated both an interest in real estate within the McCombs School of Business and support increasing the advancement and number of women in the real estate industry. ULI Austin will also provide mentoring and networking opportunities to the scholarship recipient.
The scholarship fund must reach $50,000 to be endowed to distribute a $2,000 award annually. All donations are made directly to the scholarship fund, which will be managed by The University of Texas. Annual pledges count toward the total necessary to endow the scholarship. ULI Austin already committed $10,000 to seed the scholarship fund. This $5,000 match challenge is in addition to the original seed donation, to help reach the $50,000 goal. If today’s match challenge is met, the scholarship will be fully endowed.
Personal and corporate donations are encouraged to help reach the scholarship goal.
